Night1: Hanoi to Lao Cai (Night train)

At 20:00, you are in Hanoi Railway station for the overnight train to Lao Cai station. Overnight on train

Day 1: Sapa trekking tour, Trek to visit Lao Chai - Ta Van (B/L)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at about 6:00 am. Our tour guide and bus pick up you and transfer you along the beautiful road to Sapa . After breakfast, we leave the hotel and start trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa stream and from here to the Black H’mong village - Lao Chai village (Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa). After that, you will continue your trekking along Muong Hoa stream, paddy field to Ta Van village, visit and understand about “Zay” ethnic people. You will see houses of The Zay people which are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. You wil have pinic lunch at the village when enjoying beautiful sighseeing of paddy fields around. Go back to Sapa in the afternoon. Enjoy breakfast and lunch on the way.

Day 2: Cat Cat - Ham Rong mountain (B/L)

After breakfast, you will trek about 3 km to come to visit two villages of the Black H’mong (Catcat village). Visit the waterfall and hydroelectric power station established by the French people in the past, view nice landscapes of green forests and beautiful scenery along the way. Walk back to Sapa town. Have lunch at the local restaurant.

Day 3: Sapa - Ethnic Market - Lao Cai (B/L)

Wake up early in the morning to welcome another days in Sapa, enjoy breakfast then we check out and clear the bill for transfer to visit local colorful market before heading to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Mini hotel will be offered for shower in Lao Cai city. Depending on the time arrival, we will change itinerary to meet nicest local market for group. The time table for market below:

  • Wednesday: Cao Son Market (100km from Sapa )
  • Thursday: Lung Khau Nhin Market ( 80km from Sapa )
  • Saturday: Can Cau Market;( 140km from Sapa )

  • Muong Khuong Market (90km from Sapa )
  • Bac Ha Market ( 120km from Sapa )

Transfer to Lao Cai railway station to catch the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi around 5:00 AM next day. Tour ends.
